Ballet, Tap & Modern Jazz

These are our three core subjects for both boys and girls. We give the students the opportunity to take part in annual I.D.T.A examinations to acknowledge their achievements and progression. Lessons cost from £3.00 - enquire about dance lessons here.

We work towards the exams from November to March/April. From May onwards we work on dance routines to showcase in our annual show in October at Deda.

 

Students can choose not to participate in the show if they wish, but it is a fantastic opportunity to show off the new skills they have learnt and is great fun for students and parents alike.

Hair must be in a neat bun with a headband and uniform must be worn for every class but we don't expect you to purchase any until you're confident your child is enjoying their lessons and will return weekly. 

Please note: NO BUN - NO LESSON!

Our classes are held in our spacious studio on St James Street in the centre of Derby. Parking is available next door at St James Street car park from £2.50 and we have a comfortable waiting room for parents of Melody Bear and Rosette grade students. Parents of new students grades Preparatory and above are welcome to stay for the first couple of weeks.
